Adrenaline.

Numb,
But humming.
All at the same time.

My body won’t stop.
I want to be calm,
But it’s forcing me
To shake & quiver.

Adrenaline surges through my veins.
Tingling
My whole body has awoken.

Like I’ve been sleeping.
Dazed for years and years.
Not seeing what the real world is.

But now my eyes are open.
And the truth can’t hide much longer.
As much as I don’t want to see it,
I’m aware now.
